I''ve never really had this problem. Either you've got a crappy rig or your graphics settings are set way too high. Use this. This was made when the console versions were horrifically buggy.
Great game, but poorly optimized. It doesn't even support quad core CPU's.
Engine is way too old.
Has nothing to do with the build of the engine. Gamebryo was made for RTS games in mind.
Has nothing to do with the build of the engine. Gamebryo was made for RTS games in mind.
Because rts games don't need quad core support
so many people in my class played it on xbox , all of them had these problems and the game just not loading anymore after a certain number of hours played. on pc its been pretty flawless for me apart from minimising makes particle effects go weird.
The only issues i've ever had were created by myself. I get frequent ctd without errors from one of the 10 mods i have but it doesn't bother me that much. Also when quick travelling my gpu's drivers will crash completely, but this is on my end as well and i fixed it by running a borderless window.
Has nothing to do with the build of the engine. Gamebryo was made for RTS games in mind.
Even so, there are much improved versions of Gamebryo being made by INDIE DEVELOPERS that look and play better than Bethesda's ridiculous shitpile of an engine.
This was made when the console versions were horrifically buggy.
Huh, I never had any of the problems that were made fun of in the video except for crashing once and even then, that happens with other games. [sp]Also, before you go "GET A PC U PEASENT1111" I had to downgrade but, upgrading my computer is on my "shit I will do eventually" list.[/sp]
Within the first hour, my game bugged out and everyone in town was in a sleeping position a foot off the ground but were awake and floating around on their routes.

How does this have to do anything with the video? Or just overall this whole thread? Anyway the video itself was pretty entertaining, got a few laughs.

I'm tired of people using the engine as an excuse for the poor appearance of the previous titles like Fallout 3, Fallout New Vegas, and Oblivion. To be fair Oblivion looked great for its time, but Fallout New Vegas has terrible visuals IMHO. Here are some screenshots from Divinity II, which ALSO runs on Gamebryo: http://cloud.steampowered.com/ugc/596928377974230084/4FDD46E31F3FFC5A2A50C4ECB63CD2D730057DA0/ http://cloud.steampowered.com/ugc/596928319780383073/2E1FDAA355ED840B40765F76F3B8321132F315B2/ http://cloud.steampowered.com/ugc/594676687597846687/3A16E933E27F423430AF10C01C27E6C3929E5DF3/
