I can't believe Metal Gear Solid franchise is dead.
ChoaPizzeria's avatars are really impressive especially the Biolante.
Those textures and models, is that a fucking Source map ported over to whatever engine VRChat is running on?

It's surprisingly 'easy', but requires you to rebuild a lot of the lightmaps and such. It seems to be half done in that video though as some of the textures are missing. Maybe the guy didn't have one of the required games textures mounted. We've got some legends in the vr discord attempting to port the first level from hl2 and Black Mesa. They're doing really well.
"Can I take your order?" "Yes, I would like you to show me da way." "Out."
Man those are some good rips for Biollante and Shin Godzilla. Sucks they aren’t really rigged that well
Could I mod in a M18 Recoilless Rifle to this, and make it usable? Does this support modding or anything besides just importing models and such?

The main problem is they can only be activated with hand gestures, which are limited to around 6-8. It also has to be one model, so you gotta hide the gun and such and activate them with the corresponding gestures. You can get really creative though. There's Poly limits but the height limits are loosely enforced and can be bypassed with custom animations.

Someone in the VRChat thread (or was it the VR general) imported Doomguy and can even make the minigun come out with effects and all.
I'm so happy that the cat parade is a thing
