The trailer soundtrack was exactly like Battlefield 3 and Modern Warfare 3 trailers with the ominous horns and all. Also, a jungle-ish setting would allow some non-linear gameplay, but I doubt that's gonna happen.
Looks like the same game with different maps, not worth my money.
The gameplay was too chopped up to be remotely informative and what bits of story flew around made the huge mistake of honestly believing I give a damn about saving/retaking New York. Really strikes me as odd as the end of the previous game implied the aliens are all across the globe and we just finishing cleaning up New York, now on to the next location somewhere across the globe. And hell, even CELL is back. Weren't those guys de facto abandoned with the fall of Hargreave and his general or whatever? Hell they assisted you once those two were dealt with. I dunno, this strikes me as a werid mix of both games that doesn't really push forward.
IIRC Crysis 3 takes place after a global alien invasion
The trailer soundtrack was exactly like Battlefield 3 and Modern Warfare 3 trailers with the ominous horns and all. With some luck it'll have a few cool park areas or something.
But I wanted to kill Koreans :(
€60 DLC.
€60 DLC.
Sure looks like it.
suck

I always preferred killing Koreans to aliens. Was so much funnier.
I always preferred killing Koreans to aliens. Was so much funnier.
Nothing better then grabbing them by the throat and smashing them against a building to see the building collapse Well. Time to re install Crysis Warhead
100% graphics. 0% gameplay.
Welp I smell a major Pc upgrade coming along
Looked promising. Then I remembered what EA-exclusive gaming platform this will likely be on. Oh well.
100% graphics. 0% gameplay.
You shouldn't expect gameplay from what is pretty much a tech demo. They make the games to show you what you can do with their engine.

The first one was a decent shooter, nothing more. Sure, I loved the graphics, the looming alien threat and the mystery surrounding it, the open areas, the multiple paths, the suit and its features... but there were also flaws. It was also one of the most overhyped PC games ever. The second one was an utterly forgetable dumbed down linear console shooter that trivialized the alien threat. It was actually Modern Warfare with aliens and features from the first game removed. This one is practically Crysis 2 with a different environment. OK, 2.5.
Welp I smell a major Pc upgrade coming along
why? this game is designed to run on decade-old technology
The second one was an utterly forgetable dumbed down linear console shooter that trivialized the alien threat. It was actually Modern Warfare with aliens and features from the first game removed.
lol you have no idea how pretentious you sound
lol you have no idea how pretentious you sound
So rather than address the point, call it pretentious.
yeah [editline]24th April 2012[/editline] huh apparently you think i aim to argue his point i see no reason for you to assume this
Wow, it looks like it's going to be disappointing. Oh what the hell, i'll probably buy it anyway, C2's campaign was fun.
yeah [editline]24th April 2012[/editline] huh apparently you think i aim to argue his point i see no reason for you to assume this
You either agree or you do not, at which point you would have formulated an argument against his point for whatever reason.
fucking hell crytek stop, i don't want crysis 2.5, if the ceph are literally the only enemy in the game and i can't play my korean hunting simulator i have no interest in this shit
I hope the kicking feature is more crysis one-ish. Used to use the power kick all the time to send people flying.
This really is a Crysis sequel. In that it makes almost no sense when put in context with the one before it. :v:
I hope the kicking feature is more crysis one-ish. Used to use the power kick all the time to send people flying.
... you could kick?!
You either agree or you do not, at which point you would have formulated an argument against his point for whatever reason.
my issue is entirely with his wording, it has nothing to do with his point
100% graphics. 1% gameplay.
I think you forgot that you can use arrows to shoot things in the knee. That's about it. Oh arrow to the knee, where has your sparks gone?
Looks dull as hell, just a load of fancy graphics.
Is downloading origin safe? I know it comes with spyware, but fuck man i want this game.
