4:00 To me it looked like he dropped the RPG and put his hands behind his head to surrender.
Damn! 30mm HE is brutal.
5:18 is that a horse or something taking a shit?
That was fucking brutal.
I really wish wars were for video games and not needed in this day and age.. It's really something to see people die like that.
I wonder why they didn't shoot at the tents or anybody near the tents. Edit Also 2:50 is pretty brutal.
4:00 To me it looked like he dropped the RPG and put his hands behind his head to surrender.
If I was in that situation I would've done the same. I can't imagine the physiological effect of seeing your entire platoon getting blown away in the night seemingly out of nowhere. I would just toss my weapon away and throw my hands up in hope that the person behind the gun has mercy to spare me until the ground troops arrive. [editline]18th July 2012[/editline] Or at least to give myself up to the gunner for a swift death. [editline]18th July 2012[/editline]
I wonder why they didn't shoot at the tents or anybody near the tents.
Because civilians. At 3:00 you can see a mother and child near the tents.
Huh, doesn't seem to be as accurate as vidyagames have taught me to believe
Huh, doesn't seem to be as accurate as vidyagames have taught me to believe
About as accurate as you can get when firing a 30mm cannon from a moving vehicle a few miles away while slewing the cannon around.
I wonder why they didn't shoot at the tents or anybody near the tents. Edit Also 2:50 is pretty brutal.
A little bit farther into the video (~3min) the pilot talks about seeing children running into some tents. It's why he waited for the second RPG guy to run out away from the tent before firing on him.

2:50 what the fuck the guy is wounded. Isn't that a clear violation of the Geneva treaty?
Because civilians. At 3:00 you can see a mother and child near the tents.
It's nice to see that a video of soldiers who actually do care about civilians, usually the only videos I see are Collateral Murder and stuff
Ever since one of my best friends got killed by an IED and had his body defiled and looted by these savages, I have absolutely zero feelings towards these mother fuckers. How is this dumb? Am I not allowed to express hatred towards the group that took my friend from me?
2:50 what the fuck the guy is wounded. Isn't that a clear violation of the Geneva treaty?
Given the situation he's in, I think it was more in the line of mercy killing to limit the suffering. It's not like that guy will get a medic around anytime soon.
5:18 is that a horse or something taking a shit?
Probably a mule or donkey.
2:50 what the fuck the guy is wounded. Isn't that a clear violation of the Geneva treaty?
still able enough to sit up and start shooting at whoever, there were infantry teams standing by while they cleared the camp.
Those poor donkeys.
2:50 what the fuck the guy is wounded. Isn't that a clear violation of the Geneva treaty?
i don't think the tailban care about the treaty
I don't even want to see how it looks from down there.
still able enough to sit up and start shooting at whoever, there were infantry teams standing by while they cleared the camp.
Could consider it a mercy shot too.
i don't think the tailban care about the treaty
So let's just use a nerve agent.
5:35 RIP donkey? :(
I feel bad for the guy who god devistated at 12:08
2:50 what the fuck the guy is wounded. Isn't that a clear violation of the Geneva treaty?
Taliban are not protected by the Geneva conventions, as they are unlawful combatants. They have no formal leadership structure, do not carry their arms openly, do not honor the Geneva Convention themselves, and do not have a distinct uniform.
one of the comments on the page is "they stole the interface from call of duty lol" -_-
That's one vehicle taking down an entire platoon. Damn warfare has changed.
Given the situation he's in, I think it was more in the line of mercy killing to limit the suffering. It's not like that guy will get a medic around anytime soon.
But he didn't seem like he was mercy killing him "Ah yeah got him"
2:50 what the fuck the guy is wounded. Isn't that a clear violation of the Geneva treaty?
It only counts if they are uniformed soldiers IIRC.
