Community tab + Oxide mod (creating vanilla server) it will be blacklisted?
4 replies, posted
I want to switch my server to the community tab.
But i use Oxide mod, and such plugins as Logger (for logging), GroupLimits (because my server only for two players), Timber (trees are falling, not dissapearing), TimeOfDay (change duration of night), Notifier (chat notifications and welcome messages) and some plugins for logs and for backuping .map file.
I dont use any rates, kits, teleports, stacks size, no GUI and chat commans, nothing like that, any vanish and removeAAA.
So can i add my server to the community list, or it wil be blacklisted?
Should i remove such plugins as GroupLimits and TimeOfDay?
Answer devs, please, because i use hosting, and if my IP will be blacklisted, then few other servers will be blacklisted too, we use one IP-adress, you know.
Thank you.
Sorry for my bad English)
Hi,
I believe any plugin that changes the vanilla experience is gonna get you in trouble.
In your case: GroupLimits, Time of day and timber are something I wouldn't recommend as they might be changing enough to classify you as modded.
I don't know what Logger does, but as long as it doesn't impact gameplay it should be alright.
Chat commands are perfectly fine as long as they only provide you with information and don't change anything in-game.
I.e.: /wipe, would display a message saying when was last wipe and when is next wipe.
I'm not a dev, but I do admin a server in the community section and these are the conditions the owner of the server mentioned to us.
Hope this helps you out,
Pce
Ok, thank you)
I guess the night length i can change using the server command, if it available. Need to find this.
Everything within the actual vanilla admin server modifications (eg: putting the Halloween event on, increasing respawn rates of ressources, etc.) Should be allowed as it's a part of the basic game.
