Story : I was alone in our base cooking in the lab to continue building our base. Normally I hear footsteps every so often but they usually walk away. Not this time.

backup did arrive and there was war. But how it started??
they blew around 12-18 satchels getting through doors at the top of the base (empty rooms) and another 6-9 satchel at the base (bottom) of the base.
But how did they get to the roof?? see pics

our group thought of everything to avoid being raided, obviously this is one that no one thought of. Is there anyway to fix the way barricades are being used?
inb4 no pillars surrounding your base :zoid:
inb4 wow no ceiling, such noobs :zoid:
Yeah the angle at which the barricade is placed needs to be changed for the better. Maybe barricades should always be placed vertical so that the ground does not determine the angle of the barricade.
Pillars up above your building.
Ceiling at the top.
Simplest way to keep them off the roof is have no way for them to get up there.

you must not be able to see what they did, they went around to different pillars, what are we all suppose to build all the way up with all the pillars slots filled?
Yes. or simply have a ceiling at the top instead of roof access.
People come up with some inventive ways to raid. Simply have to take them as learning experiences and build to counter.

Why did you not have a ceiling in the first place?

Its an unfinished build. and we mostly ran out of metal...

Ran out of metal? Look at the size of your structure! You should have built a ceiling with that...

perspective of metal costs.

I see we are straying away from the point of the thread. anyway to bring it back on subject?

its irrelevant because they just would have blown the wall at the highest point.
