In Legacy we had chickens and rabbits. (Plus the current animals)
In Experimental we have dear, boars, wild dogs/wolves and bears.
It strikes me that we need a bigger animal population down the road and possibly some sort of taming/ breeding.
Depending on the biome you could have any of these animals.

Arctic Fox
Musk Ox

Seal (Around the shore?!?!?!) - Seal clubbing videos would arise, I'm sure.

Red Kangaroo
Caves
Racoons
Temperate Forests

It would be pretty cool if you could tame certain animals and have them become your pets. You shouldn't be able to tame a Jaguar but possibly a Husky if you feed it, put it in a locked area, give it water, breed it. You could kill it and eat it, or take its pups and they would follow you assuming you kept feeding them, or maybe you could kill a boar in the wild and let your pet eat it.
