Anyone else? I've put the ores and food in the campfire but after 10 minutes still nothing.
According to Pat smelting was fixed 24 hours ago.

Yea , something is wrong with it.
After 1 hour i got only ~18 metal fragments (i should have over 100 , i put lot of ore into campfire)
Perhaps someone put a decimal point too far to the left or right... :zoid:
I was going to go bambi hunting until I couldn't smelt my entire metal ore stack.

it is happening to me aswell.
Yes, something is bugged with smelting but i got a way to get it working.
The point is to place items correctly, if you place them like here :
[IMG]http://img577.imageshack.us/img577/9393/5jp0.jpg[/IMG]
you will get nothing.
But if you will place them like here :
[IMG]http://img341.imageshack.us/img341/1299/hs36.jpg[/IMG]
you will get your metal ores etc.
Remember to reignite the fire when you replace the items.
