...F'ing great. Hundreds of hackers banned this morning. Damn it feels good to see 2 hackers that were griefing me get banned. I hope they get instabanned trying to use the same hacks on a different account.

I wonder how much money is actually made for cheaters rebuying the game vs new sales, but I also wonder how much FP actually see from the $12 keys you can buy on 3rd party sites.

They generally take a while to get banned, so I doubt many are able to get successful refunds since they will be way over the playtime.

I bet if they submit tickets, the fact that they are banned on that game is taken into account by whoever reviews it.

Now to sit back and wait for the latest wave of people playing dumb/pleading for forgiveness/etc in hopes that FP will unban them.

Rust isn't the only game suffering from people using the refund system to cheat for 1.9 hours and then taking the refund before VAC/EAC have a chance to kick in. garry and I have to presume other devs are talking to Valve to try and close the loophole their policy created.
