We launched [url]http://toprustservers.com[/url] on sunday.
When we first built the site out, we thought we could start small and just gradually get to where we had envisioned it. However, after the traffic picked up in a big way, we were forced to focus on what everyone wanted. But not forced in a bad way :)
[B]This week:[/B]
- People wanted to be able to register on the site [done]
- People wanted to be able to "claim" their servers and edit their descriptions/information. [done]
- People wanted to be able to upload a banner to represent their server listing [done]
- People wanted the ability to pay for sponsored listings [wip]
[B]Some Stats:[/B]
- Over 15k page views this week
- 450+ votes cast
- 65+ members registered
- 5000+ servers tracked (and responding)
- 100+ comments made on servers (the discussions are there)
I'd say this has been a pretty huge week for us. Thank you for everyone who's been a part of it.
I'm also very surprised at the amount of people who have used the site to really voice their opinion about why or why they do not like a particular server. That has gone over quite well.

Indeed ;) We wanted mobile support so Bootstrap was the way to go. Believe it or not, we are getting some mobile traffic, as well.

there is a search feature at the very top right. you want to give me your server IP and PORT and I'll see if I can track it down?

not sure why you aren't able to see the search. what's your resolution and device you are using? It sounds like it's hiding the search from you because of resolution. I'll look into it

1 idea: could you make a tool to find server by location, PVP/PVE, sleeper/no sleeper, normal craft-speed craft...? It will be very useful

We are exploring how filtering will work. Definitely something we want to implement. We'll be opening up a trello so you can vote on features that we do next shortly, that way we can streamline what people want and figure out how to best serve you guys :)

Update: we fixed the banner upload issue so your new banners will show up and replace the old ones now. That's all!
Update: We found a bug that is causing some servers to not update or rank. We feel we've got the bulk of them fixed BUT if you have any issues with your listing not updating, please reply here with your server listing page and we'll take a look. Thanks everyone for your support and help!

I've noticed that when a server first appears on your list it keeps the name and if the server owner changes the actual server name but then doesn't claim his old server and update the info there it will remain with the old name (or at least that's what I noticed)
Basically I changed my regular server name when I already claimed my old one, and it never updated to the new server name -- it just changes the server name to whatever I type in the site and not what it pulls from the browser itself, even though it was always still pulling the right player count/ip and etc
Also happy to be a sponsored server! I love the site and I also really hope you guys find a solution to the community voting -- that's being heavily abused and I gave up on having my players vote as they cannot compete against people using proxies
