Hello Garry, This is probably my first thread entitled to this problem with the game Rust which I think I have sent to you about 3 to 4 times in your mail. So around when the Dutch Auction started I bought a key and from then on it has being a really big pain in the backside even now with Steam, I was begging for Steam not to screw up like Unity but I think I had too high hopes for that, sadly, But now I shall get onto the main part of this problem. When I launch Rust with Steam all is good, I double click the "Australia II" or "Australia" server and then it USED TO crash straight off, but now instead of straight away crashing it says "Downloading" and then it said the name of the map, which I cant remember and then once finished downloading its "enabling" or something like that I think maybe it was "activating" the map and then it just has the loading cursor "the hour glass" and I try to get out of Rust (its in full screen by the way) and then it has a pop-up error message saying, " Rust.exe has stopped working" and then things like close program and whatever, but it still doesn't work. Unfortunately I cant use F1 to check the errors while its downloading things because it just wont work. Now on my most recent tries I have tried to find something that might screw it up while I am at the menu screen. (With play game ect, ect.) I opened it to see what I could find and I found this: " > Could not locate a IContexRequestable! -- destroying self . (component) " I am not a computer genius but does anyone know if this will effect my game and solve my problem? I am using: -TOSHIBA Notebook -Windows 7 Home Premium If anyone knows how to fix my problem or just give me some info, please tell me in this thread or PM me. But Garry can still help to, to help me and I bet a few others, (thats why I made the poll, silly :v: ) Thank you for taking the time to read this!
seems pretty serious, no idea, but bumping for help.
