I was reading an article about rust on The Ecsapist and it said
When it prompts for the beta key, just type any 7 digit combination and hit next.
Is it true that it just needs and 7 digit combo? and if so, is it "cheating" to use it?

it was not "cheating" he had it before public but it was removed
