Okay, so.
I've been playing Rust for a pretty long time.
I began way back in January 2014 when the game came out just a few months earlier.
Since I started playing, I've had issues with the fps and connection because I had crappy laptop and wifi.
But now, I have an Asus with 8gb of ram, an NVIDIA Geforce GTX 850M 4gb dedicated and intel core i7 of the latest generation and my wifi goes up to 24 mbps and whenever I enter a server (I always go on the official one with the fewest ping which is 34) I get
10 fps even tho I set the game in Fastest and instead of 1920x1080 I set it to 1440x900 and still nothing (since I tried at 1920x1080 and I couldn't even move around because 1 fps).
Yes, I have all my NVIDIA drivers updated and I have Windows 10.
I also tried to download the game again and it does the same exact thing.
You have some other hardware issue, not related to the game.
