Greetings Rust Community.
I am currently playing on Belgium official server, have been on it for about 2 weeks so far.
I have noticed that there are a bunch of russian players that use cheats / scripts and all the other kinds of possible exploits on daily basis, which is sort of " NORMAL " considering that cheating etc. is a major problem in almost every server I've ever joined.
The main reason I am posting here is because during the last couple of days I have noticed that the server keeps having lag issues and it crashes a lot , always when there are a few players joining the server ( russians ) injecting scripts.
I have checked those people's steam profile and some of them already have a VAC ban.
My main question here is : why is VAC not working on official servers ?
Also I have never seen any sort of admin, moderator, or any kind of user with tools to ban and stop this griefing.
I really don't care if they fly / use aimbot to kill me and all that stuff, but during the last couple of days I have seen this non-sense happening way too often :
- xyz joins >
- Lag begins >
- disconnected from the server >
- server impossible to join for me or any of my friends for 20 minutes
Please let me know if there is a way to bring devs' / admins' attention on this , thank you
Don't worry about it, the game is being entirely remade with EAC which will help a lot on top of VAC.
Just wait until the experimental branch is finished or play on a community server instead, there tend to be less cheaters there.
