Just bought game......great how and where do i play it......?

Ok seen the game today looks cool so I went to auction and paid my $20 for the game. Got my Steam key in email and redeemed it on steam. Now what? I search for Rust on steam and there comes up nothing......what steps have I missed? I tried to register on the playrust.com site but it asks for a key that is not the steam key.....pls help and sorry if this has been posted multiple times. thanks

restart steam

You activate the key on steam and the game will show up in your game library automatically... If it did not, then you must have some how done something wrong.

In the top level steam menu:
Games->Activate a Product on Steam

Enter your key in the box provided.

Yes. The game used to run in a browser but thankfully those days are behind us.
