I don't think so, we already have people complaining about various game features, yes, stuff that's currently in the game.

Let's get some things straight:

You have 2 options go PvE or PvP with your server.

In a PvE server the influence of using such commands won't be that great since there's nothing you can really lose as a player.
Nobody will break in your house, blow up your walls or kill you in your sleep.

On the other hand, in a PvP server it is COMPLETELY UNFAIR and crippling for most of the players.

I can give you examples of very popular games that while offering the admins basic commands they DON'T ALLOW HIM TO AFFECT THE GAMEPLAY. Mods/3rd party mutators ofc are not taken into account for obvious reasons.

Give anyone the same playing field.

Why would I or anyone for the matter go on a Player Rented server, where, after spending hours to get something done you simply get raided and lose everything.
But that's not the problem , is it ?

The problem is that admins can blatantly become invincible, can equip and build stuff in 1 min, were it would actually take me hours to do so.

Let everybody host servers, but don't give them the obvious "Scales of Justice"

Also, we need filters for the server list, or allow sorting,like this:
-sort by ping
-sort by name
-sort by player numbers

+ VERY IMPORTANT: Divide the server list in 2 sections, official and non-official servers.
