Someone built stairs with pillars near my base, can I get rid of them?

So yesterday I built a large wooden tower with metal doors,and someone else decided to try to break in with stairs, any way that I can destroy them easily?

Currently you can only destroy the stairs. The Pillars and Foundation cannot be removed.

Simply use a hatchet or pickaxe.

You can destroy stairs using a pickaxe...

I guess you could then place pillars there to avoid someone else to build stairs there again.

rust essentials /remove command can be used . usually only an admin has use of this command tho.

I remove pillars and foundations for players on my server

just hit the stairs so they get destroyed and set pillars in the middle of the foundation as high as you need
