I am guessing he means on your own hardware, without being a hosting provider. The answer to that is 'no', not yet, anyway. I wouldn't expect to do be able to do that until after released if ever, mainly due to the fact it is not in a stable part of the dev cycle.

Yes it is possible, multiple server hosts are now selling servers for Playrust (Nitrous-Networks.com, playrust.eu, fpsplayers.com). I wouldn't suggest hosting a server from your PC, use a dedicated host for the best experience

I have a dedicated machine to host my servers on.
I run a large gaming community, that suggested getting rust, but I really don't want to pay as I have the tech at home.
