Make RUST more melee oriented - Rust

Rust is a good game. But i really think it needs to go more melee oriented. It just makes no sense how i can craft a full working workshop quality M4-MP5 ect with nothing but low quality metal. The Pipe Shotgun and Handcannon and Bow are perfect 100% We should have weapons like Axes Knives Swords Hammers Spears Bats w/ Barb Wire,Spikes,Studs We are cavemen who start with rocks and cocks. making M4s and C4 and all this stuff just isnt right to me. I wana see plenty of ranged combat in the game. But we also need to go towards more melee it would make this game so much more fun. And before anyone comments. Im a PvPer 150% my back round of games is all full loot hardcore PvP So this is not coming from the mouth of some casual who wants a superrealism jerk fest.

We are not cavemen, I don't know where you got that assumption. Edit: I however agree with this post for the most part.

We have no direction or goal in this world other then to survive. we live in a world that is long lost and forgotten we appear to be the survivors of a war that we know nothing about.
