Realistic reloading with clips instead if bullets just stacking.

To make pvp more of a challenge, and make ammo more harder to get, you should have to make magazines for your rifle or pistol, you then also have to make the ammo then put it in the mag. So pretty much if you had 3 mags with 30 bullets each you would only get 3 reloads, and when your ammo gets low in each clip you have to stack the clips which would require you to sit still in a minute or even be at a workbench to do it.
We tried this early on and it was just plain annoying, we opted for the game to be more streamlined rather than really clunky inventory management during combat (it's already a little clunky as is)

Ya i can see it getting annoying.
I agree this slows the game pace, and suits the dayz players... keep it the same!

I think you guys get a bit higher in my credibility department every single comment you make. I (personally) see placing newly created ammo into clips being incredibly annoying and one of those "time-filler-streching-the-game-experience-out-unnessicarily" ordeals we've all encountered in other game genres (fedex esque quests from any mmo game on the planet sound familiar to anyone else?)
Just wanted to comment to help reinforce that you did make a quality of life decision, for at least myself, that I appreciate.
edit: to further emphasize my point, I'm also glad in a similar sense that I don't need anything beyond cloth to create cloth armor. If I had to go out, hunt down thread, and a needle, then physically stitch a pair of boxers together, I'd likely kill myself of tediousness and inflated required dedicated playtime tasks as a player.
