Since this is the early alpha release, is it possible that the devs havent implemented VAC yet? If they havent, this should be addressed immediately! It is very frustrating when you spend hours to collect some resources and a group of hackers 1 shot you without even seeing you. It is a deal breaker.

VAC isn't implemented according to the steam store page.

Dunno, I reported just in case. There are kids under 18 here, and technically distribution of pornographic materials to minors is actually a crime, iirc :v: so I would assume yes, it is against the rules.
