Could be a nice touch, sometimes I lose my bearings and wish there was a north star to follow. Also weather would be fun, thunderstorms at night would be scary and a good time for people to try raiding. Imagine a lightning flash and suddenly seeing a group of shadows standing in your back yard, mommy:)
A north star would be nice. It would provide another way of finding you're way other then the sun and moon.
A weather system would further perfect this game in my opinion .. Perhaps even weather like blizzards, which could effect hunger since our body requires more energy to keep the temperature regulated. Maybe more "Heavier" clothing could be taking in consideration to fight off heavier weather.
It would be awsome! I would also like a higher res sky XD
Btw weather would be really really awsome(maybe better dawn and sunset...it's all red!!!!!)
There was already weather implemented (to my knowledge) however it was disabled. I'm sure they'll reads it eventually.
As for the sky - they're using an engine publicly released on Unity; they didn't make it. I'm not sure how much room for customization there is with it, but we'll see.
check on trello, they're working on weather system (if my memory isn't playing tricks on me)
