please help thanks!
Integrated chipset video cards and Rust don't work well together. You need a separate card instead of the integrated card, basically.
yeah but it worked perfectly before the dev build and this update
That's alpha software. There are no set system specifications for Rust yet, because it isn't finished and anything can change.
Like that. When is the last time you updated your drivers for the graphics?
I did update my drivers, it should be running if it says that it needs atleast shader model 2.0 which i have
You tried running the web one?
yeah it worked but now its only on steam, it worked on steam until the dev build came out, i tried the dev build and this error came up, so i switched back to normal rust, now that the update happened, i cant play it at all
Try the Dev build again.
same thing :/
try the command line option -force-opengl
i did and this came up
OpenGL GLSL support is required. Your GPU (Intel Bear Lake B) does not support it

anyone have an idea what should i do, instead of buying a new graphics card or a new computer. It should be running since it says i need shader 2.0, and you shouldnt use unity 4.3 because many other people like me maybe cant run rust anymore

Basically, It means that your GPU (That is integrated into your CPU/Motherboard) I'm guessing you are using a laptop. Does not support DX11/OpenGL.
but it was working perfectly before the update with unity 4.3
