Myself and a decent number of other people are all getting this same bug where the HUD just doesn't show up. I've found reports of it going back a few months, but there are a lot of recent reports from the last day or so as well.
Here are some screenshots. They were taken in fullscreen because the game looks and acts the same no matter if I'm in fullscreen or if it's in small mode.

Tab Menu. The menu to the right of the items (Survival, ammo, medical etc) isn't there at times:

I'm running Windows 7 with the latest version of Firefox and a DX11 supported video card (Pat mentioned that being a possible cause in [URL="http://facepunch.com/showthread.php?p=40297349#post40297349"]this post[/URL].) I've also tested it in Chrome and it acts the same.
Also here are a bunch of other people with the same problem who have posted in the last day.

Seriously, how did you do that.
Nvidia control panel, you just click chrome(Haven't test firefox, don't want to install it), and select to use nvidia GPU...
Use your Nvidia GPU with Chrome, Firefox is broken no matter what. You can also right-click Chrome, use the 'Choose the GPU' tab and pick the right one.
Can people confirm this fix works?
At this point i'm pretty positive its a bug on unity's end. If the fix above works, i'll file a updated bug report to unity
I'm using an AMD GPU so I can't really test it, I was just hoping I could find an equivalent method to make sure it's actually using my GPU, but no luck.
IIRC there is a way to force using AMD GPU in Catalyst.

I have this too.
I"m pretty sure that this is a bug with unity's webplayer in DX11 mode at this point. It seems like everyone experiencing the issue is using gpus either by intel graphics or sub direct x 11.
I would encourage everyone having this issue to follow up [url=http://forum.unity3d.com/forums/10-Unity-Support]here[/url] on unity support and maybe we'll get some feedback

i fixed this by updating my graphics card
Tutorial incoming on how to fix this - will be pretty clear for everyone with this issue.
The problem is that you were (most likely) trying to use a Intel graphics card (integrated) or didn't update your drivers. You will need to buy a video card, and if you already have one, look up a guide to set your default video card to use your other one.
