While the first post might be a bit unhelpful, I will add that after the most recent patch, I'm unable to use the -force-feature-level-9-1/-force-feature-level-9-2/-force-feature-level-9-3 now. It used to give me a boost from 9-10 fps to an absolutely playable 30-40. Of course, that was at the cost of no sky. The sky would turn into some texture that trailed whatever terrain you would pass by. (Think of dragging the lagging internet explorer window across your desktop and making long trails of it.)
EDIT: Actually, that was on the dev version. Once I rolled back to the regular one, forcing feature level allows me to play the game once more.
What brand of calculator are you playing on? Is it solar powered?

Winner! But yeah, the current dev build gives me some bad fps no matter what launch parameter I use. Even if I opt out, my game will just end up crashing...so I have to deal with the dev build for now.
