Update your terms and conditions and the EULA. Make it so you have to have a valid credit card on file to play. Make it so you agree to the following condition :"If you are banned/found cheating you agree to pay a damages stipen to the company of 1000 dollars". boom, if you cheat you have to pay out the arse. Of course you would be able to repeal it if its false ban but that has only happened once. Bam no one ever wants to cheat again.
I don't cheat but if they did that I would quit. I would never let a game company hang that over my head. Not that Garry would steal from us but some companies would.
And you intend to use your parent's credit card then?
You know Rust is a Steam game, do you?
OP doesn't seem to understand a lot.

I'm 50. I worry more about my kids using my card. =P
Better idea: Making cheating an international crime punishable by death!

"Shit That Makes Judges Pass Out From Laughing In Court, Vol. 3"
Hey I've seen this joke before, OP. Be original.

Letting your kid use your card is fraud, thats something you can deal with personally, its not the gaming companies fault

But then we have nobody to complain about. :>
Rust is based on hate. Don't make the hate go!

Debatable, were your kids pushed or did they jump?

Let us look at your statement again...
"Letting your kid use your card is fraud"
Now define Fraud under the Theft Act 1968 :)

In your people's defense, the monkey was evasive throughout and refused to answer any questions.
But hey, nothing like pride in ignorance. :v:

Welcome to the world of gaming.

Hang on, (excuse the pun)... The monkey never had proper representation, being French and all that. Of course it relied on the right to silence.

I may be alright with giving Steam my credit card details for purchasing video games, but I will not disclose my credit card details directly to a game developer with the hopes that they themselves won't get hacked and have all that information taken and used by others..... or worse, someone in the company decides to do something with them.
The less people I provide that information to, the better.
I have never cheated/hacked in an online game ever.... I may have used god mode, etc. in SP games, but never online and have no VAC bans on my account since I first joined Steam in 2004..... despite all of this, if such a plan was put in place, I would stop playing the game on principle alone.
This is the worst stupid idea about "No cheating" I've heard.. this guy is a dumb!
I take it this thread is a parody of the event I'm about to speak of, but just in case it's not, and for the people who don't know, let me explain:
When Garry brought in Gold Membership for the forum, a certain member called monkey something spent $999 from his parent's card and sent it to Garry's PayPal account, which ended up getting Garry's account, and thus Gold Membership, suspended.
The more you know.
Better idea: Making cheating an international crime punishable by death!
That's actually genius, hackers would be first and last time offenders.
Bump the cost of re-buys.
If the IP is the same as the dude who was vac'd or cheatpunch'd and wants to rebuy, the cost is now "cheat dev testing kit access" at 200$ a pop.
Although, I suspect that steam wouldn't support this kind of paymodel.
Still though, they could also consider, since hacking is apparently a huge problem (I play on tiny servers, so.... I haven't seen it that I know of?) Facepunch should consider a temporary price hike immediately before a cheatpunch ban, or if they can get the info from valve (HA!) right before a VAC wave.
Right before the ban, bump the cost up to 100 bucks for a few weeks, as a "cheat deterrent" and "closed alpha phase."
