I have been playing rust since Web Browser.. and the game is really fun in the beginning.. and some what still fun when you get the m4 and what not..
Now after playing on the Oxide server.. All I can say is I am having more fun then I am on the Vanilla. I know some of you are going to say that of course modded servers are going to be way more fun because of the customization.. but I think what Thomas has done is what the game shouldv'e been.. now its about skill.. here is why
All Military Grade gear including the Bolt Action can't be researched nor c4.. so if you get one then you better becareful with that bitch.. b/c if you die and you a lone wolf buh bye..
soo many fights are with pipe shot guns and bows atm.. which is pretty fun.. Along with c4 being pretty damn rare the only way to get it is air drops and thats along with Military grade weapons also...
Well this is just my thoughts on this server which is pretty fun and amazing..
Hey do P250's and m4s still spawn in rad zones on that Modded server?
No all Military grade gear is only from air drops.. which is pretty fun man.. get your self a bow and pipe shot gun, and if you got good aim then you will probably walk away with one of those air drops..

ya its oxide server.. but I have also read that anyone that has a server with Playrust.eu can host a oxide server likes this one.. I will Have to get the guy to confirm..

This is correct.
Do note that leatherloader has a lot more functionality than oxide at the moment, you should try some leatherloader servers out (RUST++, DropParty, GroupGate).
Very interesting. I've always thought the c4 should be a rare drop only, but I like the idea of extending that to the guns. I might allow for the 9mm to be crafted as well.

Yes, that's correct. However, it will be made accessible for more hosters soon.

I might have to check them out.. But if its not like Oxide server with the military grade weapons are only from air drops and you cant craft them then I will be interested but if your allow to craft them.. then no TY I am really enjoying Oxide atm wish there was a NA base server though :( I dont really lag on the EU
