hey guys! So I've locked the time of day on my server to stop the massive lag spikes. It seems that when it goes from day to night and then back to day from night it's when you get the massive 20 second lag out periods. So for now I've locked it to make it so the game is playable for people. Just a heads up as it's a quick fix the server owners can do until they patch it. feel free to check it out here net.connect 50.97.235.71:29415
I use env.daylength "6000" for my setting and it's working quite well
Bumping this because people are posting about the same shit, here is the fix.
Yes i have also realized this will fix it! How do you lock time of day? The problem that might arrive with this is airdrops automaticly happen at noon.. So that makes them stop? How do i make it so they drop like once a hour.

Turn airdrops off then run "airdrop.drop" every hour.
Eh.. that seems time consuming. I cant be there 24/7 to call in drops. Is there another way? And how do you lock the time of day? Please explain, because i cant search for thread with a answer. The webpage locks up everytime i search for anything in the search bar.
I tried env.timescale but that doens't work anymore. Do I just set daylength to 10000 and night to 0?

env.daylength 5760
Makes the ingame day 4 real days long, hopefully there's a fix before that day has expired.
Yep, I did daylength as well, set it to 6000 which should be 6000 minutes or 100 hours. As far as airdrops, I'm doing them manually right now and will continue to do so. The server will be without airdrops from like 1AM-7AM PST since I'll be asleep but thats about as good as it's gonna get heh.
Some GSPs will let you set a timed command so you can automatically call in an airdrop every hour. I never messed around with it much but I know that it is possible to make it automatic.

SCORE! THANK YOU!
Good quick-fix, but really, I think 48 hours is enough time for our beloved developers to find a real fix.
Well until they do at least we have a fix :)
