Hi guys, i just found some player use a BIG bug that is compared to a "cheat" Actually is based on this [url]https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Pjy0kudmJ48[/url] Basically, like it was in legacy, u push urself with a door in the rock and become "invisible" to others and can build ur base that is impossible to raid. But i just found the 2.0 version of this shit If you do this shit at the end of one of the CAVES on the game , u go UNDERGROUND and, if u build foundation all scattered underground the map, u can walk UNDER the map and if u aim up, u can see people walking etc, u build a stair and exit to highground and kill em or do whatever u want basically, today, i got killed 5 times by some player that were coming FROM THE GROUND, i first though that they were cheaters but then they did show me how this did work and meh, this is bullshit guys. I dont care about their base being unraidable,the problem is that basically, u cant go anywhere solo cause they come from the ground and kill you , you cant even hear em walking while they are underground :( >SOLUTION< There are 2 solution, i think that one requires a lot of work and another is like work around for the moment. The first solution ofc is to fix this so you can't go outside/underground the map The "work around" could be that when you open a door you DO NOT COLLIDE with it so you dont get urself pushed . Ofc this should be applied to everything other then the door that can push urself away when placed. Japan servers the meta is to build in rocks and underground.
people have suggested removing the door collision before, and just like then i don't agree. if i open a door on someone, i don't want it to just pass through them, i want it to push them out of the way so i can run through. i just think players moving beyond the playspace should die. you move through a rock? dead. you glitch through the ground? dead.
players do not collide with each-other, why does the door need to push them out of the way? You can always just drop grenades from up above if someone is camping a door.
players should collide with each other too. if someone is standing in front of me, i shouldn't be able to just walk through them, i should have to nudged them out of the way, ask them to move, or kill them. either way, my point is the same as it was last time; there is no point removing door collision when you could just have "kill zones" to anywhere you are not supposed to be like under the map, inside the large boulders, or too far out to sea. it would be like removing guns because people use aimbot.

They could implement something with the rocks that would push them away from the center of the rock, not only on the outer limit. See, the ground, on the whole map is a different "collider" than the rest of the objects. it have a 1 or 2 meter buffer, that if you approach that buffer from under the map, it attract you to the surface of the map. The ground is the collider that is the harder to penetrate because of it (but still not impossible). A while ago i tested them all. using a door, you can go through any wall tier. For example, that is useful when you raid a house and get cupboard autorisation, but one room is locked. you go outside, you build a triangle with a door, the door push you through the wall and you get inside the loot room without breaking any wall. if the "ground repelant" material was used on for rocks, it would be super hard to penetrate. Approch the edge of the rock, if you stand 1 or 2meter from it, it repels you out. For the record, i was able to push myself through any material in the game, using door. Through walls. Cupboard, chests. Through rocks. Even through the ground terrain. By placing a door in a step hill, then a half height floor, i created a tiny space where the player can only fit while crouched. then, by openin the door, the door push you through the hill terrain. usually, you dont fall under the map because the ground terrain has a 1 or 2 meter repelant force. but while you are stucked enough under the map to see, you can place a bag under the map. and Et voila. I hope this can be fixed, im tired of everybody going under the map. TLDR: make the rocks edge a super-repellant force, that have priority over the door collider.
Player colliding could be pretty cool,human raidtower here i come.
You posting a video showing how it is done will just make other doing it I suggest PMing the video to a dev and removing it from him lol you may be helping some people and exposing it but u might also be making things worse for some servers.

most of the time, exposure actually gets things fixed faster. on top of that, most people already know how to do this; the only people learning it from this are either unlikely to use it, or are such poor players they need it to compete. either way, i always hold to the tenet "honesty the best policy".
