I know as an alpha game people want gimmy gimmy gimmy, all I am asking is why does the metal door cost the same amount of C4 to blow down as the wooden wall, doesn't that defeat the purpose of a metal house'.
Or make the metal door cost more or make C4 harder to obtain.
" Oh cool that guy built a metal house look a metal door i'll just blow that down vs spending another 4 c4 for the wall "
Thats all im saying ... make it atleast (5-7)

that's stupid if you make a metal door cost more c4 than the wooden wall then what's the purpose of having metal door? that way instead of the raider forexample using 4 c4 on metal door he'll use 3 c4 on the wooden wall

I think he means metal doors and metal walls should require the same amount of c4 to destroy so players have more reason to switch from wooden walls to metal walls.
I think the system works the way it does to encourage people to build extra rooms/doors between the outside and their loot.
lol yea maz you didn't get the post brah
I think it makes sense in it's current state. Doors should be the weak point of a house in context of the material they are made out of.
The advantage of a metal house is simple, the walls use a huge amount of C4. As the house designer you know doors will be the point of entry. You can easily take advantage of this by making many doors inside your house, and many rooms with fake boxes. You can essentially predict the raider far more than before.
So making metal doors worth just as much C4 as a metal wall, indirectly makes metal walls worse.
