give us a way to distinguish between players, either let us dye our gear or friend players so that their name plates and are a different color or make name plates more visible than 2 ft away ffs
Garry already stated that such a system would not be put in(This is aimed at the tagging system.). Use teamspeak/skype or some other form of communication to keep track of your people.
if your people look all the same it doesn't matter what form of communication you use [editline]17th November 2013[/editline] not asking for much just better customization dying clothes, customizing character looks ect get it
A + post... Dye would be optimal next patch. If name tags not being visible is bad enough but being able to dye the little gear we have would be a huge relief and lot of pressure on new 'items'. Just put in a RBG adjustman brush when you right click the gear. x2 cloth x2 H2o x1 Blood / Charcol / animal fat ______ just an opinion I think it would be awesome
Why don't you just wear full kevlar and rad pants for the time being ? That way easy distinguishable .
shitty work around tbh [editline]17th November 2013[/editline] haha but thats what we do
I already suggested dyes, try searching :)
Dyes could be interesting as they would pose an advantage and a disadvantage. From a distance you could tell if a clan of 4 players were together just by their uniform. Perhaps you could even "blend-in" by pretending to be a clan member? However, I really enjoy the panic that ensues over my skype when we're in a fire fight. "Is that you?!" "I'm jumping in the air!" "Shit, this guy isn't jumping."
Dye is a good idea, and a wearable bandanna or ribbon. Fun fact: In the Syrian war that is going on at the moment, the army soldiers will sometimes tie ribbons around the top of one arm near the shoulder. They change the colour of the ribbon every now and then, red/yellow/etc., and this helps them tell the difference between a friendly soldier and a terrorist who is wearing a stolen uniform. That would fit in perfectly in Rust. It's a very low tech real world way of knowing friends from enemies, and like Nyle mentioned it could be fun to find out what colour your enemy is wearing and copy them to blend in which would force them to change colour again.

Dye please.
