I had legit codes, and made an account. I only played once, and my friends got online. I went on to play, but it said my account wasn't found...

From what I know, from the massive amount of people that try and contact him, he doesn't take any notice of his PM's.
On topic, if you use the Forgot password function with the Email you used you should get a email back giving you a new unique password which if you use the link will be your new current password which you won't be able to change manually until they make that feature. If that doesn't work then you simply haven't got an account and nothing can be done. This is pretty much what Helk, Pat or Garry would say.

Don't message them. You can probably message them but theyre getting so much and theyre just going to ignore any messages regarding rust. I really shouldnt be speaking for them but they've got thousands of messages and they really dont want anymore. So don't message them. Just wait for a reply on the thread
Also I might have gotten mine too made and when I tried to log in it wouldn't work so I quit than still didn't work and need to have a code to make another acc... I am just gonna be patient and wanted to try this out and tell what has to be improved. Mine was before the code thing.

Password recovery only says User not found. And I know my email and my password. The account simply isnt there any longer and no one is going to help.
Okay, so I have a bit of a theory here. And this is pure speculation, but there's some logical sense to it.
I think Garry got fed up with people with keys using them just to [I]play[/I], and when detected, people who aren't there to test but are just there to ride the wave of omfg its rust beta fuck yeah are quietly being uninvited from the [B]alpha[/B] test so that resources can be allocated to people willing to test bugs and actually help improve the game.
This is pure speculation, but it would make sense to me. TL;DR bugtest or else, rust noobs.
* OP, you made no mention either way of whether or not you fall into the "actually bug testing" category or the "waste of keys" category. I'm going to assume that if this is really going on, and this is what happened to you, that it was a false positive, because I'm not doing this to troll, just speculating on why accounts are suddenly dying, as there are several threads about this.
