• Extreme Lack of FPS

Hello. I recently bought Rust, and throughout the day I've been trying to get the game to actually be play-able. I'm able to load the game just fine, but when the game actually starts and I enter the server I'm getting basically no FPS. I've tried lowering the Awesomeness all the way down and turning off texture filtering, but the combination of the two have not been working. Does anyone know a few things I could do / try to possibly make the game play-able? On a Side Note, I'm currently playing on a MacBook Pro here's the Specs: Processor: 2.4 GHz Intel Core i5 Memory: 4 GB 1333 MHz DDR3 Graphics: Intel HD Graphics 3000 384 MB Software: Mac OS X Lion 10.7.5 (11G63)
Wait until they optimize it :o?
Post your computer specs, so we know what we're in for.
The browser that you are currently using could have that effect also. For instance I was using chrome at first (bullcrap) switched to Firefox and... BAM! Working just fine. Cheers!

Try restarting your computer, updating your computer with the latest updates or clearing the unity cache .
Ok but the specs of your computer are kinda low :/ try to play on 720P
His specs don't matter, his specs are suitable enough to play on maximum graphics, id say hes having problems because of the new grass that was added.

i'd say just wait it out till AMD users are able to run the game without drivers crashing, if your still having problems after that contact me by pm and i'll help you out best I can.
This could be the problem, I'm not sure though.
Of course it could be, there is so much thread about it that is a well known thing now but still i think the specs are low. Specially with the processor that is the core of online gaming. Cheers!

Rust is buggy for most AMD users, some mac users and some nvidia users aswell. Problems all of a sudden happened when the new grass was added. Try running on different browsers also. (Chrome, Firefox, linux) as it has helped some players.
I have the same problem. Yesterday i was able to play without any lag, and everything was good. Today i lag to damn much though. I have the same specs as you dude.
Are you joking?
I have the exact same on my laptop and it runs unity fine
Your problem is your Intel HD 3000 crap integrated gpu, sorry :c. I suggest you upgrade your laptop to a HD 4000 series or live with horrible gaming.

Edit: Instead of regular Firefox or Chrome try using something called "Waterfox" It's supposed to be a gaming browser. Edit #2: Actually at this time Waterfox doesn't support Unity

You're on a Mac and that alone is an issue. Secondly if you want to play games, get or build a gaming PC, one with dedicated graphics... That onboard Intel 3000 shit ain't gonna cut it. lol
