How Did This Guy Open My Door? - Rust

Is this a bug? Someone opened my metal door and came inside while i was crafting and killed me looted everything i had. I thought only i could open the door, unless i am wrong.

There are hacks that allow people to open any door.

US EAST 1 I decided to try the game again after the last vac wave, "i know a wave doesnt solve all hacking issues" but sadly it seems as if you not able to live more than a day or 2. All i care about is if they are aware of the issue and are able to fix it in future releases.

there is an exploit having to do with doors, nothing you can do about it really but always have someone on guarding your base or learn to hide your stuff well.

this game is very good and fun but hackers ruin it hard... some random guy came near my house and stole my items through walls.

It's a hack that allows you to do this. Plain and simple. They can walk right up to any door, press a button and it opens for them. To everyone else it still looks like the door is closed so they can even shoot through the door when you think it's still closed.

It's a hack.

I have been banning people from my server ALL fucking day that have been going thru walls and doors to loot people stuff. Its a bit out of control.

You just have to know where to listen. You're right that it's pretty broken and pointless to play with any long-term goal in mind atm, since the majority of servers (if the admins have a clue) will be wiping once the current dupe methods have been patched.
