well i want official servers to have the removing tool for your own house cause i got raided by a hacker today cause he is still killing me and he blew of a staircase and putted a ceiling into it.
i have a giant tower and now i have to find a way to repair it and i can't i think so again.
put in removing tool or do something abouth the hackers
Do not play on official servers.
I have 700h of Rust and from those 700h, I didn't have problems with hackers at all. Why? Because I played on modded servers with fair/active admins.
Simple as that.
Oh, and yes, many servers out there have the removing tool and they work fine.

this is why you never only build one way up your tower. You segregate your tower into 2 or three sections as you build up, mutiple entrances at the bottom and multiple stair cases on each floor.
One tactic I have started using is to never place a staircase on the bottom floor. I place a middle pillar to stop the placement of a ceiling and then I place a large storage to climb onto the open metal door. This way you can turn your stairs on and off by opening and closing the door with the added advantage that it hides the room with the staircase. However this will only help on the bottom floor as you cannot place the pillars in the middle of a ceiling so as others have said try to have multiple ways up.
Also i don't know why they blew up a staircase when they could just pickaxe it.
i hope you dont have a staircase that goes all the way up because in that case you deserve losing everything haha. staircases should always only go up one floor and their location should vary from each floor. and if you do that, one pillar wont stop you from going top, you will just have to climb up the pillar with barricade/ large wood storage box instead of stairs then.

I do the same, only w/ a ramp, but the storage crate is a better idea, saves space. Thanks :D
