Purchased Alpha, but wont load?

I think it may be my GPU, I read conflicting info about it working \ not working, but im not 100%. If I am screwed will it work in the future?

Heres my specs:

Macbook Air
Processor: 2 GHz Intel Core I7
Memory: 8 GB DDR3
GPU: Intel HD graphics 4000 512 MB

Any ideas?

Heres an idea: sell your mac build a gaming rig for that same money :D im not a mac hater just mac book air hater. Its shit specs and expensive. Same price can get u an i5 maybe i7 with a
gtx 660/670/760. and yea mac is very buggy atm
