Hello, as a alpha tester of this game it has been my job not to play this game but to find out the deficiencies that it presents and to report them to someone on the development team.
Yesterday me and my friends were playing the game after we tested out the new fix on dupes and we discovered a new and bigger problem that could really ruin the game for those who are playing it for fun and not for testing.
For fair play and responsibility reasons [B]I will not[/B] reveal how to do the glitch, although I will explain it in detail so I get the attention of the developers and we can correct the issue as soon as possible.
[Bug Report - 11/20/2013]
[U][B]M[/B][/U][U]e and my clan mates were heading to resource valley to build our metal house on this new server. After we got there we started farming metal to get our foundations ready so then we could get the walls set. After we had our house with every thing set up, one of our clan members was trick jumping and (...) after doing that he got trough the wall into another house division bypassing the metal door and simply ignoring every model or environment around him. This is really scary to know because if every one started to noclip trough walls the game would broke and we would need another big wipe on all the servers.[/U]
Being a responsible player and alpha tester of this amazing game I want to report this and fix this as soon as possible.

He will see it here on the forums, but he will probably need to know how its done exactly to solve the problem. As this is still in Alpha, a big wipe on all servers is expected until the game is fully released. All testers are aware of this or they shouldn't be playing the game.
Anyways, he should see this thread and reply and may or may not request more detail.

Will do... if nothing is said until this Saturday night I will probably post a video explaining the glitch so I can get more attention from the developers because this is in fact a big deal on the game and can't be passed trough.

You literally just placed a wall in yourself from what I can see. If not please provide a better video than that..
hazik666 if i provide a better video i will automatically give this glitch for every single player... I will upload another video in a bit so I can prove to you that the wall was there all the time.

The point of the Alpha is to reveal bugs like this!!! That way it can be fixed and not be present during the full release.
i know exactly how they did it, because they did it too us, as revenge after we raided there wooden base (it has something do with the wooden boxes)
this kid deserves a ban, and we have screenshots of him admitting to it ingame

Deathlok, finding glitches and reporting them isn't abusing. And if you have a problem with an alpha game you should go play some other games until rust gets beta released or something because you will find lots of glitches and exploits on this game in the next few months.

found out a similar way how to do this too, from jumping on one of my walls from a rock into the 3rd story wall and straight through, allowed me to enter my own house without having to use the doors, but not run back through it, repeated atleast 10 times to make. would I need to post / show video of how its done?
alako, if you want you can post a video. the thing is you can glitch any wall on the game with a rock or a wood storage box... you just need that to bypass any wall in the game and that could be dangerous because we can be raided by naked guys and lose all of our loot.

i dont have a problem with someone finding glitches and bugs and reporting them, but you know as well as i do that we raided your wooden house and took all your stuff, you said in chat that we would lose all our stuff and the very next day, we lost all our stuff, and woke up to loads of random boxes in our house after u had blown through one door and then decided to put boxes down to glitch through the walls of our metal house
reporting it straight away is what you should of done, but because i reported it to the admin of our server you decided to make this video to try to look like the good guy and try to get out of what you did
it doesnt matter because we both know the truth because you admitted this to me ingame, and u also admitted to using the duping bug too, i have screenshots
you got caught out and now your trying to make out like your a good guy but i see through you

Is this metal walls only or wooden walls too? After stockpiling for so long we finally got a metal wall and researched it (idk how it took us so damn long) and were hoping to build a nice large metal base. It's going to be disappointing if suddenly metal walls are more vulnerable than wooden ones.

I sent garry an email about this about 2 days ago.
It works on metal and wooden walls... you can build your metal house but until the noclip fix you will never be 100% safe...

Looks like your walking on top of the first level wall. If your house is just one level high, would you be safe from this?
