A simple question can I play Rust on Linux? Does anyone know if it will be supported further down the road on steam?

I believe the goal will be to get it multiplatform on Linux as well, but as far as I know right now it's not exactly supported.

Linux is not supported at this time due to the engine running rust at the moment does not support linux based computers, Garry has confirmed that if unity does start to support linux that he will work on that.

It's really a shame! But I guess we can't expect the game to be like a full game ofc.

Yes it will. I'm just saying in the future because SteamOS is on linux all steam games will be linux too
