Logged on to the Manchester Server this morning and our entire base, not just a few doors or walls, the entire base was demolished and gone, every foundation and wall. Last checked with full health about 6 hours previous.
The base was not just a small base, it was honeycombed with 3 layers around 4 square foundations in the middle and 5 walls high, with 5 tool cupboards outside, also surrounded with high external walls..so it was pretty big.
This could not possibly be done without someone cheating. That would be at least 60, 70 maybe more c4 to do what they've done, we got the name of one guy who killed us, just totally gobsmacked at all of this and would like it looked into?
Happened to me on rustafied low pop few weeks ago after 2 days of building i logged in to find me and partner sleeping in mid air. The fact that we were alive suggests someone with admin power. I never go back to a server were admins abuse powers or favour people. Change server dude dont waste any more time

Manchester is an Official server too mate, it's not acceptable and needs sorted, the fact we were all killed by a couple of different people was a big mistake on their behalf. We have tried so many servers and each has their own problem, for some of us it's probably time to try a new game rather than server
Yes they were located right beside us and we;ve had some battles, they tried a raid on us yesterday and they spent about 3 hours trying to pick the hard side of one of our tool boxed stone walls lol.. We killed them all and repaired it then placed the high walls, so that alone tells me they hadn't a clue about the game really and were salty, so decided to do this.
We've rebuilt the base on a private server just to see what it would take to blow it up with c4 only and there are 40 foundations total, will edit here when done

Rustafied servers are the most played and most popular servers on rust, and the admins at rustafied take their job very seriously. I can guarantee you what happened to you had absolutely NOTHING to do with the admins of that server.

Believe it or not, big clans can quite easily get 100+ c4 in 2-3 days if there's even just 3 or more of them. all you need is 2-3 quarrys at 5x (the amount of Sulfur the survey charge unearths) and enough fuel to keep them running non stop

I understand that, but there are 4 of them and their base was rather pathetic, they are new to the game, we've been in the same area for a while, and raided them twice, there is no way they had the type of resources required to level a complete base that big, they have no quarries btw.
What also makes me believe they didn't do this legally is the fact they tried to raid yesterday and spent 3-4 hours trying to pick one hard side wall (Which they didn't even achieve cause we killed them and they give up) If they had that many resources surely they would have just blew it in yesterday, you don't get that amount overnight.
This sounds like some wackiness that would occur once the server hit its object limit. I've heard anecdotal evidence before of the server decay going crazy once the limit is reached.
Dude, I've been in groups that took out 10x10s and erased them. It can happen.
Wouldn't you just need to find the first cup board and then you can remove everything?
Also u can just destroy the foundations and the stuff above will fall apart?

No, you can't lol You have a time limit to destroy walls if authorized, if i remember correctly it's 15 mins

Just because you are still alive floating in the air doesn't point to admin abuse. If a clan with sufficient c4 levels your base, your sleepers will stay floating in the air. I'm sick of players screaming admin abuse without doing their research first.

@ hahapingazzz i say this to you with the utmost respect. Im well aware of the rustafied community and how well its run. I agree they are some of the best servers out there. However you wernt there
Yes this has happened to me on 3 different Aussie Modded servers. I am a lone builder/player and build a 2 x 2 squares then the outer shell is made up of triangles 3 deep and usually it is 6 levels high...all armoured as I get up early in the morning(low player count) and farm the rocks for HQM.
The first server I wasn't there
The second server I wasn't there but a guy bragged about it the next night and tells me he just targets the foundations until he destroys the Toolbox then he adds his own and destroys every foundation getting everything that's hidden in walls and what's above on the other levels.
The third server I was building the upper fifth floor and could hear them C4ing my base. As there were a couple of them, I despawned my loot, got to a sleeping bag outside, got killed and couldn't spawn back. Ran back to my base and found it completely gone! This I realised was because of the slope of the hill...they could crawl under after C4ing the foundations (my mistake!).
The in thing seems to be to just target the foundations and removing the entire base. I don't mind being raided...but it shits me that they can destroy an entire base!

How do you expect your base to stand without foundations? Maybe they should go back to legacy where foundations and pillars did not take damage.

I've watched plenty of raid videos on Youtube that don't specifically take out the foundations. All I'm saying is what they are doing now to the buildings(response to OP). I would like to see the foundations at least have double what the wall values are as in Armoured foundation = 2000...Sheet Metal foundation = 1500 etc. etc.
