Hi, as I see that the api of rust able everyone to see the chat, I just have an idea.
Why don't do a website, that record all the chat and search in it for something like that :
/report garry "Hacker who speedhack and say my mother was him french maid"
And show it on a website.
After that, just say how many report are about the same player and then .... Wait for the release and ban it x)
edit: Please leave all crap post out of this thread, this is a public forum and this is just an idea.
Could be easily abused.

What?
I think it'd be handy if Rust had some kind of constantly on demo recording system like GTA IV, and it would snippet the last minute or so of your gameplay whenever you type /report hacker or whatever and send it to the developers for reviewing.

although that could probably be exploited somehow with modifying the demos
Take all those people that get KOS they could do stupid reports spamming the devs and someone might even get banned by an accident.
These report won't go to the dev'
It's just for the community, example if "the devs" think a player hack, they go on this website, see 130 report about him, yes it can help.
Also, if a player come to you, it's a stranger, you go on the website and check if it's a hacker or not.
and what if people report somebody for no reason?
