Model Sizes for Stairs/Chests, Reposition door frame

Myself and multiple people i know would love to see this.
1. Change the stairs so it actually fits in a 1x1 room where you can walk through a door frame without crouching and jumping around. basically need to just cut the landing width in half on both of them.
2. have another option with the hammer on door frames to move the doorways off center to the left or right.
3. make the large chest smaller, right now you cant have it comfortable inside a 1x1 room or any room that has 2 door frames attached to it.
I completely agree, the door frame should be on one side so when you rotate it moves to the other side. Kind of crazy they haven't done this already.
I avoid placing stairs right next to a door because of their misalignment. I always build 2x2 areas for my stairwells so I don't have to deal with that. I guess you could place a half block and have it so the door lines up with the midsection of the U-shaped stair?

This would be great!

It's just a large waste of space and i feel like it is more of an oversight than an intended design.
