Different color name, certain article of clothing to their skin (like an armband), etc. Day Z makes it so you have a skin, and the failure of a game War Z had icons that showed you on the leaderboard.

No need of any type of indication that the person is a bandit or a hero! PLEAWSE! Klans no like dat! __ But seriously. Who would wear a different set of clothes or wear a specific armband to indicate that they are a bandit? Noone! Just cause some people have ytouble escaping from bandits and finding friendly people, doesn't mean you should make the game 60% ( I did the math ) easier? Take your bandit/hero models and go back to dayz. Or else. I cut yu m8!

The person killing you may think you will be a future danger, i dont KoS if i dont need to, but some people do.
