Spawning naked? Sorry Garry, but this aint flintstones. :P

I know that some people will agree and some people will disagree and Garry himself...

So Garry(you) is(are) planning and implementing for players to spawn naked, that is kinda original even though that will skyrocket this game to mature rating and possible bans because of nudity and it is not realistic for the setting of Rust. Rust is set in modern day world that had an apocalypse thus players in Rust are in post-apocalypse world thus it is not possible to see an white middle aged man running naked with an axe since remains of pre-apocalypse modern world did not vanished and rotten away, so they are basically there.

Also how a man even going primitive/primal would ever forgot about clothes at all, it is very doubtful that an modern man after this mega disaster would allow knowledge of the now old world in rust to be forgotten since survival of the man depends on those knowledge.

Lets take for example UFO series from Altar Games...

UFO:Aftermath - aliens arrived and goverments on earth try to contact them, in the meanwhile aliens don't respond and release spores that after several weeks rain down and kill most lifeforms on earths while byproducts of spores are some lifeforms that became monsters/mutants/mutagents. There are not much left of human civilizations, rogue militias and gangs, various sects and the factions that increase their influence and try to fend off alien invasion. They scanvenge for weapons and resources, they research and do reverse engineering to manufacture needed items... In the end they defeated the blob or better to say the mass.

UFO:Aftershock - Humans agreed to give up the planet for the safety of so little humanity that was left, not everyone could be transported to Mars or be transfered to an alien orbital space station Laputa controlled by Council Of Earth. After sometime disorder and chaos reigned after residents of Laputa find out that COE did not know how to fix/repair Laputa, riots started and Laputa's engine was damaged. People fleed the space station thanks to unused alien space pods and arrived on seemingly abandoned alien orbital station, they recaptured it and started to establish its self on Earth. Finding out that Aliens went primitive after some event on Earth, local humans asked for help to defeat local mutants. The Laputa crew aided them and found out about other distinct human groups that local humans call them monsters. So called "cyborgs" and "telepathic humans". It is kinda similar to previous, but more complex.

UFO:Afterlight is not worth mentioning since it is radically different and being on Mars.

My point in short it: Don't implement a naked crazed white man since its rather foolish and actually it would not scare you or anyone else as you hope so(in your fantasy).

I thought it was a joke. Even if it isn't a joke, you're taking it way too seriously. Sky-rocketing a game to an M rating that is supposed to have an M rating isn't that bad. It's an "A-o" (Adult Only) that the devs may want to be avoiding, although the hype surrounding the game might mitigate the fact that it can't be found on shelves.

You are selling on your website, but that does not mean that you won't need sooner or later a rating for your game when it gets gold and you start selling it to the teens/minors. A naked crazed man in the game would put you in trouble and the folks that yell: violent video games :would jump on you with class action lawsuits in a heart beat.

There is a public illusion that Internet is not controlled by anyone, your site could be banned from the search if that or that goverments decides to do so eg goverment of UK wants to ban "pron"/porn from the search index. Your naked guy would put you in the black list :P

But there are people who want to make their ideas come true, thats Garry one of them. And you are that guy who wants that others would follow your path to your "perfect" game.
