Um... i just crafted 9 ceilings... went to place them, and when i hit the hotkey to place it the stack disappeared and i threw a flare? what the hell just happend?!?
has anyone seen this happen?

i logged out and they came back.. so if this happens to you that is the solution
Its a old bug,but some time ago it was occuring much more often.I placed a campfire few days ago and it also transformed into a flare.
This has happened before, it's just a weird bug that prevented an easy dupe. If you have a flare like that, just move it to another slot or try to equip it.
