Why rust is not optimized ?

To be sincere, why rust is not optimized ?
I have a laptop and a PC Gamer, and rust dont run on my laptop ...
Rust dont have amazing graphics, huge maps, or something it lag.
And rust was made in Unity.

If anybody who work on rust see that, pleaseee try to optimize

The game is literally marked ALPHA while you're playing and it's all over the place besides that too

a) it's alpha.
B) you're probably getting server lag like 9/10ths of the people who complain about jitters in the game.

And an side note;

c) you mentioned the map isn't big.... have you SEEN the rust map? it's flipping massive. One of the largest sandbox maps in a build game I can remember seeing.
