I just wonder why there is only option to building wooden shit. U can get metal but u cant build metal walls or doors. You should be able to obtain stone and build stone buildings.
I belive that game would be more interesting if you guns building wasnt that easy. I mean you should split your gun models for smaler parts which players could create and then join them together.
Im sure these options will be added in later updates but still want to give you some ideas of what might be very interesting for players...

The game is in alpha. What matters right now is making the engine work. Zombies are placeholders and are intended to be completely removed before the game is finished.
I don't know the answer to your questions of what will be added, but I think it's safe to assume that a lot more will be added as Rust gets closer and closer to bring finished.
Correction : You can make Metal doors.
Again, the game is in ALPHA state. This means they're testing the core concepts, making sure you CAN craft a wall, or you CAN craft a gun. Nothing is official, and I wouldn't be surprised if major changes are put in place before it's released.
