I think that whenever you are a beside a workbench, crafting time is cut in half. this makes it where you are more than likely safe when you are crafting and its annoying whenever you have to wait forever. It also makes since because in real life, its 2x faster making something with tools than with bare hands.
I kinda like this Idea, it'd be a great time saver.
Maybe not cut in half, but it would be nice if it allowed you to craft faster.
I agree it would be nice if being at a workbench allowed you to craft non-workbench recipes faster. Just makes sense if you can make something with your bare hands you could probably make it way faster with a workbench and tools.
