Hesitating to buy rust because I'm not sure if i would be able to play it with decent fps This is my laptop: Processor: Intel(R) Core(TM) i5-2410M CPU @ 2.30 GHz (4 CPUs) ~2.3GHz Memory: 6144MB RAM Page file: 3580MB used, 8601MB available Graphics: 1) Intel(R) HD Graphics Family Total Memory: 3860 MB 2) Radeon (TM) HD 6630M
I won't sugar coat it for you, running @ my laptop specs. 8GB RAM @ 1600 MHz GPU Nvidia Geforce 650M i7 @ 2.6GHz I barely get 30 FPS. I really don't know if the unity engine prefers AMD cards but stranger things can happen. Lemme see if I can find that mega thread. Someone might have similar specs to you.
Yea you could play man Gf 650m Is pretty bad for the game tbh But He will be able to push 20-30 fps :D
You should be able to play, it might be a bit choppy at times though. Make sure that the game is using your Radeon and not the on-board card.
Maybe if you played on fastest and turned off the grass you'd get 10 - 20 FPS
I must be amd cards or something because I have no problem getting 70fps on maxed settings with the following specs: AMD A10-5800K O.C.@4.5GHz 8GB dual channel DDR3 1866MHz CL10 Radeon HD 7970 GHz edition 3GB GDDR5

He is talking about a laptop with much lower specs than that.
