Regretted on giving 18€ Because of cheaters in UK servers - Rust

I've just been spending almost half of my day here in Rust, trying to make some progress in my Character, what happen is that today I gain nothing.. I've been playing on Server UK 4 because i usually play on official Servers, I know that we have most of the hackers on the official servers but still, this is my favorite place to play, it's official! it's made by Facepunch, its' "They're servers" if I play on community servers I feel like I'm playing in a Worlf of Warcraft Private Server or something.. Anyway, after being killed with absolutely "No Weapon" and being brutally "Beated" until death. I've decided to change server and play with my girlfriend on the UK2 Server.. Well Guess what.. same Story repeated, after we spent 30 minutes collecting a lot of resources and picking up a lot of boxes with pretty awesome loot. in a matter of seconds we died by invisible players called "GuinnessPete" that insta killed us.. After we re spawn and came back to the same place to re-collect our stuff, another hacker called Harry Botter, also invisible killed us with just 2 quick attacks, we did that like 4 times, and when we came back, some other player picked up our stuff.. well we decided to move on and make another adventure, and after spending another 2 hours finding more resources, we get end up being killed by the same guys.. This is unbelievable!! how can an official server let 2 hackers like this being so much time in the server! everyone was reporting him! They even came inside our house, without opening any doors, and killed us anyway, how is that possible? We couldn't continue... we left the game for today... I'm sorry FacePunch Studios, I love your games and specially Rust, but this is just making me regret the day that I gave my money to this...

Nobody is forcing you to play on official servers. That's your fault, not Rust's. There a many fine community servers out there.

And the official servers are more 'test servers' anyway. Your gameplay experience will be much better on a community server. Trust me.

They help to find issues in systems/programs. But I'm totally against crackers. They are just bad. But of course I'm aware of the general meaning of hackers. But you know what I want to say.

I don't really mind if there are hackers in the server and if they make Tests on the security. But killing you over and over not letting you play? come'on

My advice to combating them in the game atm is to 'combat' log or just walk away from you PC and do something else! This just seams to piss them off! How many rants have you ever heard from 'hard core' players on this subject Yer they won the battle in game; but is 'not turning up to a battle', truly the same as 'losing a battle'? When the 'war' is only psychological :) Sure you will die! But what do your really lose? and eventually they will just get board and log off! (or their mommy will tell them to go to bed) :P Have you ever heard the term of 'don't keep all your eggs in the same basket'? My advice for a really good 'Rust' experience is: Don't hold on to things for too long! if you find something good that you can't use now stash it! Build LOTS of small 'stashes' all over the map, sure a lot of them will get raided, but majority won't :)

A wipe isn't fair. Just because you get your ass pushed in by a hacker, doesn't mean the entire server, and all the players playing on it, should lose all their equipment. That's like saying that everyone should not be allowed to drink, or we should destroy all the current alcohol factories because someone went out and drives under the influence. Get a hold of yourself. Shit happens.

A hacker is like giving a Wipe to some random players for no reason

There's nothing fair or unfair about a wipe. Wipes are a part of the development. Not a crime.

Worry not. Omega is hanging around UK3 right now. He'll do the wipe for you.

If there where no hackers we wouldn't need security so stop saying hackers are good for making security that shit is just stupid. In a perfect world, everyone played without cheats we wouldn't need to make shit to stop hacks. We only need to put all the effort into stopping hacking because people hack. Not the other way around.

Everyone. Everything. Then he probably comes here to stroke his impotent epeen.
