• Idea for weapons

Make weapons require multiple parts to be crafted then combined together to create a weapon rather then just simple metal fragments. example: upper receiver + lower receiver + barrel + stock= m4 This would make it so higher-end weapons would require much more materials to create and more blueprints to gather. because of the many different blueprints that would now be required to make an m4, it may force people to work together or even trade parts among each as not everyone will have all blueprints required to make a complete m4. I think this could also apply to many other objects in the game, including armor, structures, and various items for survival. My other idea was for the magazine capacity of most weapons. example: Vanilla m4 can only use 5+1 round magazines that you craft. You can however find blueprints to craft a modification for the m4 that allows you to use larger magazines such as a 10+1, 20+1, or a 30+1. You would also then either have to find the magazines of this capacity, or find the blueprints to craft them. having the rounds for the weapon simply won't be enough. This also again would force people to trade with each other and work together. My final idea is to make it so the damage a weapon causes to its target decreases the further the round much travel. This would make it so you are not able to kill a target as effectively from 100 yards as you would be able to at 5 feet. The round will lose a lot of its stopping power requiring you to get close to people in order to deal a sufficient amount of damage to them. This factor could also help noobs win a fight against someone who is heavily armed, when all the noob may have is a small handgun or melee weapon they now stand a better chance because they may actually be able to now get a hit on there attacker. How much damage each weapon deals from different distances should vary among the different weapons. I also think the accuracy of the round should decrease the further it travels as well, again this is to make a more level playing field and add a bit of realism.
I like this idea also and i'm sure this will get implemented
I agree with a lot of what you said but don't forget this is a game not real life. On the weapons note I just want a hunting rifle :(
Bump.
